      John Milton Branton
           
        His an award-winning writer/director whose films have screened in more than 50 international film festivals. He won awards at the Hollywood Underground and California Independent Film Festivals; the World Festival of Short Films in Huy, Belgium; and the Black Maria Film & Video Festival. His short film, УTears of a LotusФ, received five Leo Award nominations, including Best Director and Best Short, from the Canadian Academy of Film &Television, West and was a Short Film Winner at both Key West and Telluride. He was the 2nd Unit Director on Fox TVТs УThe New Addams Family SeriesФ for 28 episodes and dialogue (acting) coach for 65 episodes.
 

УYesterday Upon The Stair,Ф premiered in Park City in 2004, won Best Short Film at the Key West Festival, was a Short Film Winner at Telluride IndieFest and was invited to screen at the cutting-edge ARTCONCEPT Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia in May 2005. He has also directed television commercials and industrials.
Mr. BrantonТs screenplays have won numerous awards and Emmerson Denney Films recently optioned his feature script, УTrading UpФ, which he will direct in Los Angeles in September.
An accomplished actor with an extensive list of on-screen credits, John Milton most recently played the CEO in УThe CEOФ for Bigfoot Entertainment and various voice-overs for Clever Learn. Other credits include X-Files, Chris Isaacs Show, Level 9, The Net and many indie features.
He has just completed a new screenplay, УOff Course,Ф with award-winning director, Katrin Bowen, set in the club and modeling world of the Italian Riviera and Milan.
He is a respected and sought after coach and mentor, and teaches Directing, Screenwriting and Acting for the Camera at the International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu, the Philippines. He recently completed an on-camera acting workshop for the Screen ActorsТ Guild (SAG) Conservatory in Las Vegas; has taught on-camera acting and scene study classes for the William Davis Centre for ActorsТ Study and on-camera audition technique for the Union of BC Performers in Vancouver. He directed Master Classes for Equity Showcase in Vancouver and Toronto, led Acting & Directing Workshops for Alberta Culture and was an Acting Instructor at York University in Toronto.
Mr. Branton has won several awards as a Stage Director, been the Artistic Director of three professional theater companies and a Guest Director at theaters across Canada and the US.
He holds an MFA in Performance and Directing from York University in Toronto and a Diploma in Film Production from the Vancouver Film School.
